Bangor's Promenade Pier is a curious structure. For one thing, if they had made it twice as long it'd classify as a bridge. For another, it's strangely empty of kiosks and other structures that would typically accompany piers. In spite of this, the location of the pier offers a great shore view, so it's well worth a stop.
