The Usk Reservoir is remote and underwhelming compared to many other sights in Wales, but its remoteness and general unattractiveness makes it a great place for finding a bit of solitude. I've come here many times to think about life and challenges, and the peace and quiet it offers has made it my favourite rest spot of them all.
